Sometimes I'm like a dog ("what are you doing? Where are we going??"), and sometimes I'm like a cat (would like nothing more than a snooze in the sun) Except for the odd year here or there, I have had dogs all my life (three blue healers, a kelpie-border collie cross, and now a pembroke welsh corgi) I'd like a border collie, because they're smart, and have that slight OCD edge to them! You all know the dog jokes: how many border collies does it take to change a light bulb? Just one - and he’ll rewire the house while he’s at it. Child killers like pit bulls are the scariest. Just bad, bad animals. I had the displeasure of meeting a pit bull once. The owner would run it on a tread mill for maximum exercise. As Billy Connolly described pit bulls: "a shark on a leash ... a big pointy head with eyes at the corners, a big row of teeth and an @r$#ho!#"). Oh and another (rather bad taste) joke: What's the difference between the department of social services and a pit bull? If you try real hard you can get your kid back from a pit bull.

Are you most like a dog or a cat? A dog, not telling you why
Have you had a dog or a cat as a pet? I have both cats and dogs. Which would you prefer? LIke both cats and dogs, I have no preference Which breed would you like? I'm quite fond of my Basset Hound, although she tends to be greedy and lazy (Just like me really Which is smarter? Dogs and Cats are like people, you get dumb ones and you get smart ones... happens in all species I guess. Which is most scariest? I have to agree with Cracticus... Pit Bulls are scarrrrry

There's always been a cat in the house, never been without one. We did have a dog called Lassie (guess what breed she was?!?) for a short time but I was too young to really remember her. I currently have a tuxedo cat called C.J. He's on this website actually. Pet gallery page 23 If I ever do get another cat it (I have been thinking about it lately) it would be a rescue cat so I'm not bothered about the breed. I look at their personallity more. I also agree that you can get some smart and some stupid animals, their species has no say in it. I'm a little weary of German Shepards (I know that's not what they're called now but I forget the proper name). I was bitten by one when I was about 6. I've been attacked by a cat too. And a bird. Animals don't seem to like me very much I do have an opinion on pit bulls. I think the reason people don't like them is because they are so powerful. If they do decide to bite they're jaws are so strong they can cause a lot of damage and won't let go, but not all pit bulls are bad natured. In fact I've met a few who were really cuddly and lovely. If treated properly they are great dogs and good with kids (honestly!) I think people buy them to look tough which doesn't help their reputation. The people that own one just to look tough sometimes encourage them to be aggressive.

I think that Im most like a cat, ten years ago I was most like a dog. If you throw a ball for a dog he will go and fetch, throw a ball for a cat and you can see it thinking "You threw it, you go and get it!".
Ive had dogs and cats as pets. I now prefer cats, Im not sure why. Maybe I like the way the do things on their terms and that they are very independant. Which breed would you like? I like alley cats and bull terriers. On the whole I think cats are most definetly smarter than dogs. In my experience dogs are the scariest

I was attacked by a cat, we still don't know why. I only stroked her and sher'd never attacked anyone before or since. She lunged at my throat and got her teeth into me (only a little) I've been attacked by a dog too and a crow.....Animals really hate me
