Default QOTW: How many,,,,,,,

- How many pubs/bars are there within 10 minutes walk of your house?

- How many pets do you have?

- How many alcoholic drinks do you have on average a week?

- How many minutes do you live away from your place of work?

- How many of my lottery numbers are going to come up this week!?

Portsmouth gave the world Charles Dickens, Arthur Conan Doyle, Isambard Kingdom Brunel,
James Callaghan, Rudyard Kipling, Peter Sellers and the greatest club in the Premiership.

Post

1) Number of pubs within 10 mins walk - 1 but the town centre is 20 mins away and that has loads.

2) Pets - 1 a tuxedo cat called C.J he's currently living with my mum because I'm not allowed pets in my flat

3) Alcholoic drinks in a week - 0 but every now and again I have a big night out. The next one is on Saturday

4) Work - About 1/2 hour by bus. Actually 2 busses but I might be moving soon.

5) Lotto - Probably 2. Enough to get you excited but then let you down when you realise that's all you got

Any connection between your reality and mine is completly coincidental

Will do - Peanut arrived Christmas Eve, an unexpected present from a 13 year old daughter of a friend of ours - she saved and paid for the cage, bedding etc herself - you can imagin the taxi drivers face when he pulled up to bring them to ours.

We has a rat previously - Mr Rat (we were never very good at making up our minds for names) he was great friends with our cat - sadly no longer with us. Will post pics if I can find them

I wanted a pet rat once. Saw one in a pet shop when on a lunch break from school. I soooo wanted to take him home but I knew my mum would never let me keep him. What is it with people and rats? they're not dirty, they're sweet. Same with mice.

I watched a david attenborough programme on rats and was amazed that they can jump a huge distance! I can't remember the exact length but it's the equivalent of a human jumping the length of a football pitch

Can't wait to see the pics

errrrmmm... I hate to ask this BUT how great a friendship was it between Mr Rat and your cat, seeing as Mr Rat is no longer with you???

I used to have a pet Rat as a kid... he used to escape the cage whilst I was at school and get into my clothes, which ended up half chewed...
I came home from school one day and my Rat had "Mysteriously disappeared" (My Mum later admitted to "releasing it in a field")...

To err is human. To ARRR is pirate.
