Fave Subjects were
Maths, Physical Science and English
Yead, I was pretty good at all of them
Nope, they don't really have too much to do with what I do now (except maybe algebra which helps a bit with programming)

I really liked Biology. I was good at it depending on the teacher. I found some teachers are just not good at teaching, which makes me lose interest. Unfortunately my job doesn't incorporate anything remotely close to using it.

I loved maths.

I still do, and I have a job where my maths skills are needed, even though now we have computers to do maths for us.

I didn't really like any subjects at school! I tryed quite hard to not turn up for lots of it towards the end!!
Whenever there were subjects i disliked less than others i'd end up with a numpty of a teacher who would put me off (like when I fell out with the technology teacher because my welding was better than his, i was 14...)!
The stuff i was better at kinda relates to my job (maintenance technician), i dont like them, but i'm kinda good at them! Things like physics, maths, design and technology, electronics etc were my better subjects. I was pretty good at German, but that realy doesn't relate to my job!

I enjoyed Computer science - way back then we had 1 computer all alone in a room on its own (back in the days of BASIC). I was no good at programming but the room had a lock so we used to go there for a crafty smoke. Click the image to open in full size.

It didn't have much to do with work until about 10 years ago when I started using excel and now I am in front a computer all day long & also responable for the web pages for my department.

My favourite subject was English - language not so much, but literature definitely - except no-one read the books as quickly as me so I usually ended up reading the same book 3 times to everyone else's once! Despite it all, I was quite good at it, which works well now for my job. And I still read like a mad thing every opportunity I get (which is quite a bit as I commute every day and a book is a great way to 'escape" the sardine can I'm on with hundreds of other people!
