The place in Wigan, was it at the Martland Mill Estate? If so, I think its the factory that my mate used to work at. Is it Hazeldene foods I think?


My mum often gets the Billy Bunter fish one, can't remember the name of it.. and she always finishes it! My father-in-law also likes his food, and has been there, he finished the Billy Bunter... Mike and I witnessed it and we were amazed! It's a great place.. wished we lived nearer!


Went to a nice restaurant on Tuesday night Harewood Drive (I think thats the road), nice Italian place called Giovanni's. Highly recommend it.

If your out this way and like a curry , try the 'Aagrah' in Garforth. Top indian food. They have a chain of restaurants in yorkshire, all serving top nosh. No artificial additives or preserves.

lol! I live in Ponte, and they have a restaurant in featherstone (also called the Aagrah) and one in Ponte called Pabnar. It really is gorgeous food!!

This world is getting smaller by the minute on this thread. I've been to the White Swan in Aberford a few times too MadCat! V. nice! Cant beat their garlic mushrooms to start!!

My mum always gets the Whitebait, but that turns my stomach! I can only eat a main course there... can't face a starter as well!
I haven't been to Pontefract for ages, its a nice place, or it was the last time I went!!

Is gonna have to visit..i love a good pub crawl

pubs near me u have to get cabs, unless ur in town but i try to avoid that part too much trouble once they all start pouring out of the pubs /clubs
