Default Classic TV and Radio Faux Pas

From BBC Radio Solent (the Beebs regional service for Hampshire area)

Scenario :- They were live from the kite festival on Southsea common discussing the best way to get it in the air.

The commentator said "When I was little my sister tied it to my chopper and I sped off down the road but I still couldn't get it up"

Portsmouth gave the world Charles Dickens, Arthur Conan Doyle, Isambard Kingdom Brunel,
James Callaghan, Rudyard Kipling, Peter Sellers and the greatest club in the Premiership.

Never adopt a dwarf with learning difficulties.

Its not big, and its not clever!!

lol... that's hilarious..
One of my favourites was the BBC commentator (not sure whom) who was commentating on the England vs. West Indies Cricket match...

Michael Holding of the Windies was bowling to the English Batsman... Peter Willey
The commentator said "The Bowlers Holding, the Batsman's Willey"....

To err is human. To ARRR is pirate.

I watched the Moto GP a couple of weeks ago and the commentator said that "one of the bikes had as much traction as a dog on lino". I thought that was a great analogy (Cant spell that word )
