There are heaps of ads in Oz at the moment selling funeral plans. They play on peoples fears (particuarly the elderly) and I find that shameful

I had a bank cold call once trying to sell me "Accidental death insurance". I asked her if I would be covered for cancer. She said "no" to which I replied I would not have got in on purpose so therefore it would be an accident. She didn't get my humour.

Adverts that annoy me - The new Westplus advert with the singing worm. I'll put it up later when I get home.
Actually weedkiller adverts in general iritate me. It's almost as though they're trying to force me into the garden. If I need weedkiller I'll go buy some. It's not like I'm going to buy it just because I've seen the ad. There's also loads of them out right now, at least it feels that way. Rant over. Sorry.

I have found a really cheap new type of weedkiller, works just as well and a fraction of the price....
Vinegar! Yes, vinegar. I buy the ASDA Smartprice vinegar at 15p a bottle, tip it on my weeds and they are dead within 30 minutes... don't waste money on expensive weedkillers anymore... MadCat

Good tip - in our back garden would probably need several gallons of the stuff though!
