Found the code down the side of the sofa where the black bit is & put that in the box on the sofa but nothing happened? am i doing something wrong? found a few other codes too but they dont work either!

I'm starting to get stressed!lol!

Hi smartsez...

Okay... the codes work on Both Symbols and the Colour of the letters/symbols, which correspond to the symbols on the box...
If you have moved the middle Painting, have you tried turning off the Light and looking around the room...
Also, that particular black part contains something you will need to get the 4th coin... BTW there are 5 coins and 3 Statuettes in Total... you need 5 coins to complete the "Secret" exit...

i give in, i cant do it! I found 'BOX right at the beginning, but i feel like i've put every combination imaginable in to it! when you've pressed the combination on the box do you press the long button at the side of it? cos thats what i've been doing & it just pops the shapes back out again. I'm no good at these things!

I keep going back for another look, i proper want to do it (even if i do need clues from everyone else!) I've never been able to solve clues n stuff!

I can't remember what they are exactly but if you have found the word BOX written on the wall, and the look at all the other codes you have found (e.g. the word fox...) you need to find a RED B and then the corresponding symbol with it's colour, a RED O and then the corresponding symbol with it's colour and a YELLOW X and then the corresponding symbol with it's colour... so in other words, if the X in the word FOX is Yellow, what is the corresponding shape and colour of the symbol next to it??? you will then get the "code" for the box on the couch and then find something that will help you water a plant...(as far as I can remember)... If you're still stuck, I will play it again and then give you the code for the box...let me know how you get on and if you need more help... really is a good game, so don't give in too easily

well, i've opened the box! couldnt find a yellow x so just used the process of ilimination lol! I now have the bottle opener but not know how i can use it with the bottle! Aaaaagghhhhh!!!!! I'm trying, i really am, i just cant get my head round it!
