Lightning pool problems

anyone else got the same problems occuring ?


I have now had this various times (i played in the tournament and yes my score was in the 6000's...lol, but i played my 2nd game and got a score of 390,000+ and when i went to submit score it gave me an sql error and never registered the score even though it counted the game)(i also got a score of 250,000+ and it gave me a page cannot be displayed when i submited score), i am not having a moan..hehe as i know i can get some great scores on lightning pool but when you have been playing the game for 25-30 mins its very annoying when score does not register.

anyone with any feedback on this or why it give out the errors?

At least your problems are just technical - my biggest problem is how bad I am!!

We decided that to give everyone else a chance, we'd block you from saving your scores ...lmao...

Not too sure actually, sounds as if there was a temporary problem either on the network at at the web hosts servers? Will give it a bash myself in a minute and see if I have any problems

I am as bad in the game as I am in real life. When we used to play at the pub my mates used to make me bring the beers rather than play!!!

When I was a student I was really good and used to play for money, but now, sadly I am so bad!! Out of practise and all those excuses

When I was a kid I used to have snooker lessons - how sad is that!!

In response to the original post, page can not be displayed is because the code sent from our server to your machine took too long. This could be because of many reasons.. slow on your side, our side or the internet...

The SQL error is if the database crashes or goes offline briefly. Unfortunately it does go off for a second or two from time to time as our hosts let us down...

but...

and you know what I'm going to say here...

The more people that Donate to the site, the quicker we can move to a host that doesn't let us down...

Lol Hyno,......the drunker i was the better i played...i remember once at a club these youngsters thought they would kick my butt, but what they didnt know was i was drunk at the time and none of them could get me off the table i just kept winning lol

I was the guy who would be first knocked out. I don't know what your rules are but I lost the table off the break once when I potted the black.

It was at that point I became the "barman".

yep there are lots of diff rules depending what pub/club your playing in but ive always played if you pot the black from the break without any other ball going in then you win the game.

Hmmm.... that's not the rules we play... if you pot the black from the break, it's a foul break and you have to re-break... BUT there are a lot of variations on the game... the Americans(surpisingly enough), for example, play a totally different game to everybody else...
In fact, since I've been playing the game (for the last 20 years or so) the club rules have changed several times... I still prefer the original rules we used to use...
