Gadgets: Skype Phone
Im playing with a great gadget at the minute its a cordless Skype phone that does not require a PC. Just connect the DUALphone base station to your broadband connection, and then you can talk free of charge with your Skype friends or call other landline numbers worldwide – either using the extremely low SkypeOut rates or as usual via your regular landline operator. The popular Skype user interface and the attractive colour display gives you tomorrow's telephone today and for the future, because it is easy and simple to download new software directly from the phone. The phone has superior sound quality, is naturally cordless and has a range of up to 300 metres. It is easy to install, easy to use and a natural choice as your conference phone.
Im well impressed wth it  MadCat used it to talk to her cousin in Melbourne for an hour, the call cost nothing  I also use it to talk to a coder in the USA, he does a lot of cool stuff on Siliconhell for us. Do any of you use Skype? | ||||||||

Yes, I'm on Skype (my user details are included in my profile) but I don't have a Skype Phone... I mainly use skype to contact my sister and friends in the Uk As its free..
I'm also a Beta Tester for Joost (Joost is the new project created by the guys that originally created skype) | ||||||||

Mike got me a cool mobile for my birthday. It's on the 3G network and it has free skype included in the contract, dead easy to use as well. I'm well chuffed with it.
