Default Multi Media Steamers

Do any of you have any experience of multimedia streamers :?:

What I mean by that is a box that connects to your TV to display movies, photos, music stored on your PC.

I like this Dlink device

Have you used eBuyer before? Have you bought cheap brands from eBuyer before?

I've had good and bad experiences with them. It was all good until I bought a Sony digital camera. It was faulty and a tried to ring them to ask a specific question about the returns policy... their phone service was awful. 9/10 times the call connected and immediately dropped the call so I had to pay for a non-existent phonecall. When I did get through, I never actually got to speak to anyone as the hold system dropped my call. That was almost a year ago now, so hopefully they've improved. I resolved the situation easily using their online returns system, but didn't get to ask my specific question!

Since then I've bought a USB flash drive from them which was a cheapy make. It arrived and was different to the advertised one and was dead on arrival. I got my refund okay, but not on the speedy delivery cost I paid. I reordered another brand before they had dealt with my refund and have had no problems with the well-known brand.

I was once tempted to buy a cheapy DVD player from them which had DivX capabilities, but many of the reviewers said it just didn't work or was different to the one advertised, so I never bothered.

I highly recomend the Yamada DVD players, I have 2 of them. They play just about anything :!: There are also Modded Firmware available. They are relatively cheap too
