Google Earth gives me better results for my location. I'll keep checking Windows Live though

Well, maybe if you check your house on Google Earth in a few years, there may be a pic of you looking up and waving

If you don't know any better, it's an honest enough mistake to make...
You're sisters got a great sense of humour tho

Perhaps she has been watching too much TV. 24 frequently shows the goverment using realtime satellite images to locate people in and around buildings, IMHO this isnt yet feasible.

I told an elderly relative that I could see there house and garden using Google Earth. They where not happy that somebody had been taking pictures of their house without permission, they said that "its spying" :-?

By UK standards your house is on quite a big plot of land :!: Whats the object to the left, is it a pool or a tennis court :?:

Work seems a long way from your house, is it :?:

The greenish object to the left is the roof of the cottage...

It's a big piece of land by South African standards too... it's what they call a "Plot" or a "Small Holding", basically a mini farm close to or in an Urban area...

Yep... work is miles away... about 50 km's (31 miles)... sometimes takes me 2 hours to get to work if traffic is bad but normally around an hour  ... would take about 35 minutes without traffic

Used to live a lot closer to work (+-15 Km's or 9 miles) but we decided to move to the plot as we thought it would be nicer for the kids...
