Am I missing something here? That's a picture of a Citroen, and they are certainly not in the same planetoid space as an Aston!!

Yes,
We may even come sooner than we originally planned... the economy here is going to hell. I know it's not too much better in the UK BUT they've just raised the interest rate here AGAIN - so Prime lending rate is now 17% on a Mortgage... I'm scared that if we leave it too long, the exchange rate is going to deteriorate (it's R15.56 to £1-00 as it is) and I won't get as much money out even if I let my pension grow here for another year  So, we're thinking of coming over in 3 or 4 months (end September, end October)... | ||||||||

We're thinking of moving to Norfolk... I'll get a job in Norwich but think we'll live in a town or village outside of it and I'll commute...

No, I'm originally from *whisper*.... Essex
 We chose Norfolk for a few reasons... 1) As you say, it's a beautiful part of the country... 2) Houses in Norfolk are relatively reasonably priced but jobs in Norwich still pay reasonably well... 3) My sister and her family live in Cambridgeshire, so we'll be relatively close 4) One of my cousins lives in Norfolk and is an Estate Agent their so I'm hoping he'll get me a good deal on a house ..... As I said in another post, the only downside is that I'll have to start supporting Norwich City  | ||||||||

Sounds like you have thought it out.. you don't always have to support the local football team.. there are supporters the world over for Man Utd and Liverpool.. don't follow the masses, support who you like...
