Man gets stuck in window

An Ohian locked out of his apartment tried to climb through a window, got stuck and suffocated.

Jack Kasler was found with his legs dangling from the window of his Columbus apartment.

Coroner Brad Lewis said Kasler's diaphragm was prevented from contracting.

Lewis said it was not clear why the 45-year-old couldn't push himself through the first floor window or how long he had been hanging there before he died on Friday.

Police said a passer-by told them she didn't stop to help because she thought Kasler was a burglar. Someone else called police after realising that Kasler wasn't moving.

What a horrible way to die
