Poor old Tom!
Tom Cruise reportedly threw his toys out of the pram after being told he was too old for a fourth instalment of the Mission: Impossible saga.
The 46-year-old star 'is begging for MI4 but Paramount wants a younger, cheaper guy', an insider told a US newspaper. He then 'had a tantrum and ran out of a meeting' when the bad news was broken. It could spell the end of his days as an action hero. The news comes just days after it emerged Cruise had been replaced by Angelina Jolie in spy thriller Edwin A. Salt, which is scheduled for release in 2010. OK - I get that 46 is a bit old for the action stuff - but replacing Tom with Angelina - am I missing something here?

Well, to be wuite Honest, I'd rather watch Agelina than Tom anyday...
If Sylvester Stallone can make new Rambo and Rocky films at 60, I'm sure that 46 isn't "that" old... mind you, I wouldn't pay to see and haven't seen either of these films... I think Rocky 26 went straight onto DVD anyway
