Star Wars fans wed
Weddings can be tricky if the in-laws don't get on but just imagine having the ultimate forces of good and evil coming to your special day.
Well, Star Wars addicts Rebecca D'Madeiros and Bill Duda seemed to manage it, playing host to the good (Queen Amidala), the bad (Darth Vader) and the ugly (Admiral Ackbar) at the back garden ceremony. Dressed as senator Mon Mothma and the unsightly admiral, the couple enjoyed an advance guard of Imperial Stormtroopers as they walked up to the officiator, Yoda, who had secured his marriage licence on the internet a few weeks earlier. Details of the wedding vows that followed were not clear but it is thought pledging to battle for eternity against the Galactic Empire and the forces of evil was mentioned.  Luke now: Bill places the ring on Rebecca’s finger as Princess Leia watches 'It was a lot of fun – after all, it's not every day you get to be married by Yoda,' said Mr Duda, a school teacher. Photographer-cum-Imperial-Officer Justin Winokur said: 'The wedding was so informal at the start but obviously, when the ceremony took place, people became a bit more respectful.' The 36-year-olds, from Portland, Oregon, spent nine months planning the summer sci-fi wedding and invited 70 guests, who each had to arrive in costume. The big issues now are where will the honeymoon be and what will they call their children? Can you imagine how embarrassing this will be years down the line for their children?

lmao... idiots...
I wonder how much a Star Wars Wedding cost??? a bit more than 20 000 GBP  I used to love Star Wars as a kid... the operative word here being kid...
