Here we have a rum called Bundaberg. It is brewed in a place called Bundaberg (not a coincidence). Publicans think i'm weird when I ask for a shot of Bundy in a pot of beer. It's expensive but nice.

I also LOVE Jamesons. I drink it straight up, no ice. Even got the boyfriend hooked onto it.

But as a once a week treat, we buy Kiwi (New Zealand) beer, called Tui. It's a treat. I think the no pollution and cleanliness gives the beer a crisper taste.

I'll have a look for that too... we actually can get hold of quite a lot of imported beer BUT I was in Mocambique (http://www.barraresorts.com/welcome.php?pg=13) last year on honeymoon and fell in love with the local brew there... esp a beer called "Mac Mahon" ... Mocambique is right next door to SA and I can't the beer here anywhere

although I can get another Moz beer called Laurentina...

I'm getting hold of a Home Brewing Kit next week and am going to start Brewing My Own

Home brews. Hmm that reminds me of the time I 'invented' a cocktail. I actually can't remember what was in it (I was drunk already when I created it) but it turned out neon green

even though there was nothing green in it. Looked a bit like toxic waste

Of course they still drank it. They were students after all, sent us all loopy
