Spiders invade flats
Residents of a block of flats had to be evacuated after it was infested by spiders from the black widow family.
The creatures were spotted running up and down stairwells, reports the Daily Mirror. Pest controllers were called in to kill the spiders, known as false widows, at the block in Plymouth, Devon. Resident Gareth Williams, 25, said: "It was very disturbing. False widows have a painful bite similar to a bee sting." In Devon?

Im not scared of spiders, but I wouldnt want them invading my house
 I have to wonder where they came from as to my knowledge there isnt a UK native spider that can trouble us Brits

We don't get Widow Spiders in Africa either (as far as I'm Aware)
We do get a Spider Called a Button Spider(http://www.scienceinafrica.co.za/200...ttonspider.htm), which is a relative of the Widow and can also be quite poisonus... Not as Bad as The Australian Funnel Web (http://www.amonline.net.au/spiders/d...lweb/index.htm) though

This may sound strange (but thats nothing new for me) Im really fascinated by spiders. Many of them weave complex webs, there is even one that catches fish!
I even talked MadCat into letting me buy a tarantula, it only took me 10 years. I then changed my mind We got a snake instead.Gosh I feel hungover today, I drank so much vodka lastnight
