An Indian teacher has been arrested for using electric shocks to discipline his students, TV news channels reported on Wednesday.
The teacher gave 22 students mild shocks using equipment in the science laboratory at a school in the western state of Maharashtra, NDTV reported. He was arrested after students complained to the police, V.M. Pawar, a local police inspector, told the channel. And I thought that the school I went to was bad Did your teachers ever do anything mad? |

lol! I once gave my physics teacher an electric shock... only a little one mind! I was always the one to be picked to demonstate the vandergraph generator cos of my long hair. He was telling the class how while i was stood on the plastic box with my hands on the generator (and my hair stood up on end) that i was electrically charged, and that i would be until i either stepped off the box or touched something to earth the electricity. At that point i felt the need to touch his shoulder, he gave me a very evil look and I just said "oh yeah! thats cool innit?". Not sure he was amused! lol!
