Man wins mince pie contest

A man has won £1,000 by eating 26 mince pies in ten minutes.

Clive Pearson, pictured, took part in the contest at Wookey Hole, Wells, Somerset.

He said the secret to his success was sipping water between pies.

He now hope to take part in the world eating championship in Las Vegas, reports the Daily Mirror.
