NOW you’re feline stupid!

Bert the cat is in a tight spot after doing what comes naturally.

The 14-year-old had chased a mouse into a gap between garages.

Sadly, Bert found he was a bit too much of a fat cat for his own good when the four-inch space narrowed to only three inches at the front.

Michael, 64, of Dibden Purlieu, Hants, said: “He must have been chasing a mouse at speed and wedged himself.”

After hearing his miaows for help, owner Michael Howe called the fire brigade who smashed a hole in the garage wall to get him out.
