Another pointless study??
The common notion that women are the more talkative sex has been dispelled by scientists in the US.
US Scientists in the university of Arizona bugged the phones of 400 students to monitor how much they talked. The results conflict with previous US reasearch suggesting that women talk almost 3 times more than men. In results suggest that wither you were male or female was not an indication as to how much you talked but wither you were an interovert or extrovert. In the study, women spoke a daily average of 16,215 words during their waking hours, and men 15,669 words. The researchers say this difference is not significant. The most talkative man in the study used 47,000 words while the least used a little more than 500 over a few days. Is this another pointless study??

I'd have to disagree with the results
 My proof: A man on the phone "Hello, yes OK, Bye" Average Total time = 1 minute A woman on the phone " Blah, blah, blah" Average Total time = 20 minutes And, when you ask what they talked about "Oh, nothing much"  Yes the study was pointless Mike... PS I say all this in jest

Isn't anyone concerned about the fact that they bugged peoples Phones
 Anyway, this may hold true for Young Adults (Students) but I bet that it doesn't hold true for the Older generation... They should have rather spent the money on a better casue.... ME

The only reason its equal is either the women ran out of call credit or their batteries died through too much use before the experiment finished!!!

it was never going to be an accurite test anyway if it was only done on students-thay were probably talking about coursework half the time anyway cos they werent listening in class! hardly represents the entire male & female population now does it?!
