Introducing our new kitten

A neighbour came to our door this evening with the cutest kitten that you have ever seen. It had been left in a cardboard box in a local park. She was looking for a good home for it... how could I say no.

I took it to the vet and got it checked out, and am pleased to say he is a healthy young lad of about 10 weeks old.

He's been in our house now for 3 hours and so far he has been called:
Lucky
Chicken Head (from a Dennis Leary sketch)
Vlad
and now he is just kitten

We need suggestions for a name and I must tell you, we don't go for boring names! Jack's full name is Jack Daniels. Ban, our old cat was Bandanbladderstidel (after a Peter Cook and Dudley Moore sketch)... so any suggestions will be gratefully received!!

How about 'Abracadabra'? A new family pet always brings a bit of magic with it! Could call him Abs for short! lol!

lol! I used to have a cat called 'Cat'! We spent that long trying to think of a good name she started responding to it so it seemed cruel to change it!

I was calling the kitten biscuit, but I don't really want to have to shout it out in the street of an evening!!

He went through a few names over the weekend including Angus (God Guitarist from AC/DC), Zvi (hebrew word for Youth), and quite a few others.

We finally decided on Ozzy and we are now trying to get him to respond to it!

You could have called him Gilmore or Blackmore....or Nutty

Our cats are officially called Widget and Gizmo, but they get called little cat and big cat

I like the thinking on the names... good muso's! I am a massive Black Sabbath fan (of the Ozzy era, not Dio) and I like most of Ozzy Osbournes solo stuff... hence the name Ozzy...

ahh ... he's gorgeous ... makes me want to get another one or two - but that may cause problems with my 2 boys.

talking about names, my b/f has started calling them skinny cat and fat cat

, real names Mkuku and Budeleir, i keep telling him that they'll get a complex because of their 'new' names. i told my sister what he's calling them and she said next time she see's him she's gonna bop him on his head
