I take it that your vet has not been much help then? Can you go to another for a second opinion? I will ask around for you anyway and let you know.

Thanks for your reply MadCat! I'm going to my cat's former vet (the one that is a block from where I used to live - and too far from my new home to take him regularly) tomorrow. Things are getting odder; yesterday, out of curiosity I pressed my bigger cat's nipple and a drop of white liquid came out :shock: , If indeed he is being able to nurse the kitten :-? I think it's time for him (the kitten) to drop it!

I have 2 brother cats that are ALWAYS sucking each other! Not in particular places they just suck fur? Can you help me?

I have seen adult & young cats do this on a blanket, they also massage the blanket at the same time. I suppose its similiar to an infant sucking their thumb.

She said that what the older cat is producing, is a serum, and though is not harmful to either cat (not to the little one for drinking it, neither to the bigger one for losing it), the sucking of the little one may produce an infection on the older's cat nipple (besides the fact that it's a really bad habit fo the kitten). So I have to put some kind of clothing on the bigger cat (something like an apron on his chest) and spread some vinegar over the cloth to keep the kitten away... Since the older one has an ability for taking off a harness almost without effort, I guess I'll have to put on him some kind of big sock or something He'll hate me for a while :cry:
