Paw drinking

I am not sure if you understood what i meant, but i know that was not it.

Hey! I have heard of a cat doing that before! And the people asked the ecacked questions! and the owner told them the same as you did!
Funny ain't it?
Now I think you should take away his (paw drinking) bowl and replace it (in the same place as the paw dirnking one) thenn c wot appens!

We placed a shallow dish of water near the normal bowl of water. Bazil looked at the new dish, but then went to the original bowl, stuck his paw into the water and proceeded to drink in his usual manner. ;-)

It musn't be the temperature of the water, as he did this right through our hot Aussie summer.

I think he's just 'different'! It's one of the reasons he endears himself to us.

it must be an australian cat thing, cause my youngest boy, 'rodent' does this every morning from my husbands water glass beside the bed! its too cute, but 2 out of 3 times, the glass goes down and then theres water everywhere! ive been trying to get a good picture of him doing it, will post when i get one.
come to think of it though, i dont ever see him drink water from the cat bowl, but my other 2 dont have a problem..

Yes we have one and she has this thing by doing it with her food, messy mare :-P

yep, my paw drinker will occasionaly eat mince with his claws, actually both my boy cats will do that from time to time, my girl wont though..
