I am concerened about his swollen eye as cats scratches and bites can frequently lead to infection. Cats mouths are full of nasty bugs! If it hasnt improved take him to the vets as soon as possible.

That was my thinking exactly. It simply his nature so getting him nutured won't help. His eye is deffinetly healing although it is taking it's time. We are keeping it clean for him and keeping an eye (no pun intended) on it.

Unfortunatly this isn't always possible. He likes to go out at night and if we try to keep him in he becomes extreamly vocal and keeps us awake. He can be really loud. He also likes to come into our rooms and wake is up by jumping on our heads

. My mum usually gives in at around 2am. I'll have to ask our local council about instaling a cat flap so he can come in to us if he likes.
