Tarmac and Petrol - both strangely compelling, but it can't be good for you
Wet grass - take it or leave it
Hot bread - one of the most amazing smells ever
Cooking curry - almost as delightful as bread
New money (straight from the ATM and obviously just printed) - nah, not for me
Freshly ground coffee - one of those things where the smell could never possibly be replicated in the taste.
As much as I dislike cigarette smoke, I actually don't mind the smell of a pouch of tobacco.
Someone mentioned wood fires. I like the smell too, but it can also remind me of times in my life when I have smelled bushfires nearby, and that can be very disconcerting!
