Billy Connolly walked over the parliament house. I think it's great that it's got a grass garden on the roof. He showed all the goverment buildings but he kept saying that everyone who lives there are beurocrats and work for the (evil) goverment. Made me think that he might be a little narrow minded. It looked like a great place to live.  |
Yeah, he was a bit harsh on Canberra. I don't think he spent enough time here to really grasp what the place is like.
It has that big country town feel, but is also a large cosmopolitan city. Like I said, I love it!
