I watched a Billy Connolly show on Canberra a few days ago I was about to do the dishes when I thought "oh it's Canberra I'll have to watch this. I know someone who lives there!"

Lots of people that live in Canberra are from other places, and come here to work in the public service. Many people, (particularly those that don't live here!) think Canberra is a boring, sterile place to live. You either love it or hate it. I love it! It's a fabulous place to live.

Billy Connolly walked over the parliament house. I think it's great that it's got a grass garden on the roof. He showed all the goverment buildings but he kept saying that everyone who lives there are beurocrats and work for the (evil) goverment. Made me think that he might be a little narrow minded. It looked like a great place to live.
