I used to work in a plant bakery many years ago. There were quite a few claims made about odd things in bread, but the one I remember most was the one where someone complained they'd found a VERY large splinter in their bread. Funnily enough the splinter was in one piece, through the middle of several pieces of SLICED bread! Some people really did try it on to get some compensation!
