When I was either 16 or 17 (can't remember exactly, it
was a while ago!!) New Model Army did a free gig in City Square, Leeds. I
had to go, as well, it was free and I was into a couple of their tracks..
Well, I got all dressed up, I wasn't old enough to permanently dye my hair mad colours as I was still at school, so I used bright pink temporary hair colour mousse.
I left the house looking the part and feeling really cool
. However, about a third of the way through the gig it started to rain really heavily. I soon found out that my wonderful hair dye washes out with rain
and I left the gig with pink hair mousse that had run down my face and dyed my face pink before it dried...
I didn't feel quite so cool then !!!
