Thanks for the good luck wishes. I think I needed them.
I had a nightmare of a time getting to the interview. I decided to go by bus which meant 2 busses. The first bus was almost 20 mins late (but still made me on time for the second bus) but the second bus didn't stop for me.

I was furious

So I went to the nearst train station knowing I could probably make it. The train pulled into the station just as I was arriving so I had to runn over the bridge to the platform, in heels and a skirt. I'm sure it looked funny to everyone else

When I got off the train there was a little confusion as to which direction I was going in using the map so I ditched it and used the road signs instead, remembering the name of the streets.
I did make it on time. 15 mins early to be precise and I think it went well. They want to fill the position quickly so I sould hear early next week.
I have to admit that it was maddening at the time but I now see it as an adventure. One of life's little sub plots
