hi, this is my first post. I got on here due to a search for mindbenders and somehow ended up talking about my cats. Go figure! I am a teacher of the gifted, and my students are amazed when I talk about my cats. They are all different and wonderful. Tina, is a tonkinese and the only "pure bred" she had a brother named Ike but he got ran over. next is Sonny, he looks like a Russian Blue, but isn't. He came from the girl who runs the tanning bed down the road. Next is Lilsasimonki, she is a Manx-style bobtail who wandered out of the woods after a crawfish boil. her name sounds like little sassy monkey all run together. No lie, that was the name of one of my African American second graders a few years ago. I loved it (and her) so much I named this brindle cat after her. Those three are the only ones who stay inside the house. They are litter trained and get along fairly well. Next we have the outsiders. They consist of grown kittens from strays who didnt get fixed or removed before they gave birth. All are spayed and neutered now and make great outside pets. (we live in the country away from traffic roads) We have Venus and Serena, they are sisters of Cher (Sonny's friend) who died unexpectedly of unknown causes. Also, there is the Springroll family: Su Ling, who was a stray, and her two boys: Charlie Chan and Shang Sung. I dont know why they are Oriental, they just looked it. I would love to hear about all your pets, but no sad stories please. After all, pets are just little tragedies waiting to happen, but I couldn't live without them!
