How far does a cat travel in a lifetime?
A cat walks over 19,600 miles in it's lifetime - the equivalent to travelling from London to Sydney and back, new research has revealed.
Utilising pioneering GPS technology, Go-Cat has been able to track prowling cats and discover what else they get up to.
Animal behaviourist Dr Peter Neville says:
"Cats are very active, intelligent and sociable animals. This study was a great way of delving further into cats' behavioural traits and finally discovering the mystery of where the average cat goes to and what they get up to when they leave your door"
As a result of the findings, Go-Cat has launched a nationwide (UK) search to find Britiain's Most Adventurous Cat. If your cat has performed an amazing feat of bravery, climbed the highest tree or been on a remarkable journey send your details to:-
