What a hard decision you have to make :cry:
Sometimes the right decision is the hardest to make. When Jack was first diagnosed with FIV, we had to take Ban, our other cat to get tested. (each test costs £100, which is a shed load of money!!). It came back positive.
Jack was still young enough to be kept as mainly an indoor cat, but Ban was a 90% outdoor cat, and if he was stuck inside he ripped all our wallpaper and got aggressive and unhappy! It was really hard to do, but for the health of all the other cats in our area, we had to get him put to sleep. It was 2 weeks before his 6th birthday. I still regret the decision, but it was morally right...
