no junk mail problems for me ... but that's cause i'm so sticky about who i give my address to
also has loads to do with voting ... when you get ur next voting form thru, read the end bit cause it has something at the end which says about sending (or in their case selling) your information on to 3rd parties. so companies can actually purchase ur information to send you all the rubbish most ppl get.
